Description

Obverse : Bust of Hitler facing left surrounded by inscription, "Unser die Zukunft / Adolph Hitler" or "Ours the Future - Adolph Hitler," the two inscriptions are separated by acorn/oak leaf clusters, tombac, 36mm, edge marked "Bavarian Mint." Reverse : The main device is an eagle with broken shackels. Around the eagle's neck is hung a shield with a sun wheel emblem (a rounded swastika). The inscription reads, "Im Jahre deutscher Schicksalswende / 1933", or "In the year of the turning point of German destiny, 1933". Artist: Oskar Gloeckler (unsigned). Some small mars and spots, nice even toning, light wear.
