Description

1934 Silver Hailstorm Insurance Medal: Pure Silver, Swastika between 50th Anniversary dates of 1884 and 1934, 46 mm, 57.8 gm. Obverse shows two insurance agents inspecting and writing a report in a wheatfield. Reverse shows the Bavarian Coat of Arms and motto "Treue um Treue" inside a wreath of wheat ears. Very faintly maker marked on bottom edge "C. Poellath Schroebenhausen SILBER 1000," iridescent blue & gold peripheral toning, proof condition, a very rare medal.
