1939 Bar to the Iron Cross, 2nd Class, Type 1, Gold: First pattern, scalloped box, gold over silver plated tombac, 31x31 mm, 5.86 gm, two centrally soldered prongs made from one piece of metal, no maker, this is the only gold bar I have ever seen, possibly awarded to a general??, moderate wear.
