Probably the Best Compass Made in WW2: Made one month before D-Day, Blackened copper body, magneto damped dial, jeweled stem, glow in the dark radium painted letters on the dial, tempered glass crystal, two slots with a center wire for sighting, pop-up magnified lens for reading the dial, knurled brass bezel ring with clicker, marked 5-44 (May 1944) Corps of Engineers U.S. Army, manufactured by Superior Magneto Corp. L. I. City NY USA; comes with original canvas belt case, works perfectly well, very light wear.
