Bronze Aeronautical Research Corresponding Member's Badge: Die struck brass badge and suspender, burnished swastika and wing shoulders, the rest of the eagle, wreath, and suspension have a dark antique finish, the reverse has a mirrorlike polish and appears to be gold plated, the hanging length with loop is 60 mm, badge measures 47 x 50 mm, suspension 11 x 14 mm, knurled pin 55 mm, the slide locks into the pin at regular increments, total weight 14.8 gm, serial number "145," maker marked "LN 1700" (Christian Lauer, Nurnburg), there is probably no other third reich badge with finer detail, very rare, virtually mint condition.
