NSDAP Musterbetriebsfahne: DAF Factory Honor Standarte - Karlsruhe-OststadtII: This 110x130 cm (44x52 inches) Honor flag has 7 rings on the hoist edge, the top ring is hallmarked RZM M1/83. This rare pre-war National Honor Standardt was always presented with a certificate in a leather covered folder. The wartime flags have a silver embroidered War Service Cross opposite the hoist edge. Only a few hundred were awarded from 1937-45. Regular DAF flag material is red cotton. The Honor flag material is entirely rayon with a silk-like sheen, having a 74cm textured gold lamee cog wheel, a 47cm bright white roundel, a 31cm black rayon swastika w/1cm ribbed aluminum bullion trim, and 5cm twisted gold bullion fringe, near mint condition.
