Description

DAF Marble Honor Plaque Award: High relief metal plaque (10 x 15 cm) affixed to a heavy white marble base (12 x 17 x 2.5 cm). The weight of the ornament is 3 pounds. The three workers on the plaque are a blacksmith, an architect, and a farmer. The Adolf Hitler quote on the plaque "Ehret die Arbeit und achtet den Arbeiter" translates to "Honor the work and respect the worker." The plaque was designed by the Muller firm in Erfurt and produced by Paulmann & Crone in Ludenscheid, small edge chip, overall light wear.
