Description

Dutch NSKK Trouw Volunteer Badge of Honor: Awarded in two separate ceremonies. A few have recently been excavated near Berlin (mostly broken and badly corroded). About forty drivers attached to 6th Army were pulled out of Stalingrad pocket. The word on top of badge "TROUW" translates to loyalty or honor. The badge looks like a treaded tire, inside is the Wolf's Angle (Dutch SS symbol), a dagger, and a German helmet. Tombac, 50 x 45 mm, brass fittings, this exceptional one came from Berlin, complete, light wear, light discoloration, overall excellent condition.
