Field Manual 23-40 - Thompson Submachine Gun Caliber .45, M1928A1: This is a clean tight original manual printed from the Gov Printing Office, Washington : 1942. This is the pocket issue, 4 3/8 x 6 3/4 inches, 78 pages. The inside cover shows a very small owners stamp at the bottom. The outside covers and page 78 show a very small partial thumb print stain at the bottom edge. The inside pages are as clean as the day they were printed, no dog ears or pencil/ink marks of any kind. This is an original publication, not a Print On Demand, the center staple shows some rust which is expected for a manual of this age. Overall very light wear.
