German Weimar Era Officer Sword: Gold plated solid brass fittings, 50% guilding; tang screw, perfect bakelite grip with 7 bands dbl wrapped, 4 bands trpl wrapped; silver bullion knot, supple field green leather strap, some bullion stitching broken on lower half; 32.5 inch nickel-chrome plated blade is perfectly straight with full luster, marked E. u. F. Horster Solingen, steel scabbard w/90% paint no dents. Between the wars the German army was limited to just 100,000 men. Rather scarce, overall very light wear.
