Luftwaffe M-38 Oberforster Uniform Tunic: Tailor made, top quality green wool tunic with green piping, small size (my guess is a 34 or 36 long), four button front, four pockets with scalloped flaps, hanger slit above the slanted left pocket for a forestry hirschfanger, machine embroidered breast eagle on green wool; aluminum bullion piping on the green wool collar, shoulder boards, and collar tabs; green plastic buttons for forest duty, loops for the iron cross first class, dark green rayon lining, left vest pocket and two back flap pockets, white pin-striped sleeve lining, tailor label from "Mohr & Speijer, Koln Rhein am Gurzenich," wool flap over hanger slit, probably never worn, mint condition. Matching green wool trousers: for a person with very long legs, green piped, two front pockets, one back right buttoned pocket, plus one front right pocket watch pocket with a stainless steel chain split loop sewn to the waist band, small waist adjustment belt in back, suspender buttons front and back, four button fly, hook & loop waist closure, right leg has a 4 cm tear just below the knee (very repairable by darning but be sure to find matching pre war green thread with no modern brighteners), very light moth tracking in numerous spots on the right leg which are easily spotted due to the lighter green color of the wool, pants look like they were never worn. This uniform is much rarer than the state forestry models - a plum assignment for wounded LW officers.
