Forward with color portrait of Adolf Hitler, list of contents. This Album contains 235 biographies with 235 color portrait cards (5 x 6 cm), a who's who of the Nazi government. The book was printed sometime in the summer of 1934, shortly after Hitler had SA chief Ernst Roehm and other SA leaders arrested and shot. The book was intended to have 250 biographies because the cigaret cards are numbered from 1 to 250 - but there are 15 missing numbers which corresponds to the recently purged SA high command. The book is missing two cards. The inside cover is signed by Lt Col. Bowden W Davis who brought this book back home as a souvenir. This is a scarce and desirable cigaret card book. Condition of cover is very fine, inside pages are excellent.
