Accompanying the narrative are black-and-white photographs beginning with scenes of Norwegian troops, burning destroyers, wrecked bridges and buildings, German graves, Kriegsmarine troops on the Norwegian-Swedish border, Ju-52s dropping supplies and paratroopers, a crashed British plane, mountain troops in full pack, a communications post, wrecked coastal artillery, a wrecked French tank, Norwegian, Polish, and French prisoners, numerous images of General Dietl addressing his troops or relaxing with officers.. The book ends with photos of Kriegsmarine personnel relaxing after the victory, on parade back home, and receiving awards for their service. Nice condition.
