Description

Altena-Ludenscheid: Eagle over two coats of arms. Two mountain cities six miles apart, prewar population of fifteen and fifty thousand. One of the few badges that names two cities for a kreis day celebration. There was probably a parade or a march associated with this three day festival. Needs research. Solid aluminum, 32 x 46 mm, crimped steel pin, scarce badge, light wear.
