Description

Green wool pants, four pockets (a right front for a watch, two sides, and a button down right back), five button fly, and six waist suspender buttons. The inner waistline and fly are lined with a high quality ribbed grey rayon. The rayon has size, police, and year stamps. All the pockets have reinforcement stitches. The legs have a 4 cm hidden cuff and a 1.5 cm rayon lining. The suspenders have a decorative weave and the leather tabs are double stitched, supple, and in excellent condition. The pants have a few spots of period darning repairs using green thread of a different color than the wool. One of the repairs is really incredible - virtually invisible on the outside but you can see a patch when you turn the leg inside out!!! The inner back waist has a loop for hanging. These pants are for a pretty big 6 foot man (figure it out from the size stamp: 2.54 cm = 1 inch). Overall condition is very fine to excellent.
