SWB: 1939-40 Early War Badge: silver plated tombac, die struck, 44 x 36 mm, 32.89 gm, not marked but made by Steinhauer & Lück Lüdenscheid, barrel hinge and catch are hard soldered into machined recessed slots, obverse still has a lot of the original factory lacquer, made like a piece of jewelry, natural toning, light wear.
