1942 Dachau SS Damascus Sword: Private purchase or special order SS candidate sword, total length 100 cm (39.25 in), damascus blade 85 cm (33 7/16 inches), gold inscription reads "Zum andenken an den 23 Mai 1942" (In memory of May 23, 1942); Hand engraved inscription reads "Paul Muller / Handarbeitet" (Paul Muller / Handworked); black painted scabbard, ebony grip, nickle plated D-guard, brown leather washer, plain tomback pommel, extremely rare, light to moderate wear.
