Original WW II Issue: Instituted on August 1, 1924. Awarded for bravery and courage displayed in the defence of the Socialist Homeland. Solid Goldplated Silver with red and white enamel, one line Moscow mint, serial # 224168, blacklight tested ribbon, non-magnetic aluminum suspension, awarded in 1944, excellent example, purchased in Moscow in 1990, light wear.
