Waffen SS Infantry Standartenfuhrer Tunic: I bought this tunic from the estate of a Milwaukee collector who died in 1993. The tunic is tailor made by Heinrich Wernick, Leipzig; field grey/green wool, four scalloped flap pockets, "Extra Fein" Assmann pebbled aluminum buttons, grey rayon lining with breast pocket, striped sleeve linings, loops for an Iron Cross 1st class and a Close Combat Clasp; black light test reveals a few modern repair stitches to the sleeve linings, black threads on the sleeve cuff shows a cufftitle was removed by either a vet or the same local collector who bought it from him; approx USA size 36-38, rare!, very light wear.
