Wehrmacht Model 1940 SD Stahlhelm: rolled edge, stamped air vents, 1.4 kg, 3.1 lbs, approximately 90-95% of original dark olive-green matte paint, shell marked Q66 2426 (Quist, size 66 cm, lot 2426), very nice clean supple leather liner with all eight mint condition leather washers underneath, perfect braided drawstring, size 58; wool-felt padded linerband in new condition, 41x33 mm eagle decal about 90% intact, long thirteen hole leather chin strap (marked 0656 0005), very light wear, probably worn for about two weeks before this helmet was abandoned or captured.
