Das Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918: (aka The Hindenburg Cross). The first decoration created by the 3rd Reich for soldiers and non-combatants who served in WW1. Established by president Paul von Hindenburg on July 13, 1934. Also awarded to the surviving next-of-kin. Bronze plated steel, 38 mm, marked CEJ (C.E. Juncker), 14.0 cm ribbon, moderate wear.
