
WW2 German Electrical Engineers Boxed Volt & Ohm Mavometer
Description
Boxed Mavometer (Volt & Ohm Meter): The mavometer was a combination Volt - Ohm Meter and measured direct current in milliamperes and millivolts and resistance in ohms. The instrument case is bakelite and measures 12.5 x 8.5 x 4.5 cm. The viewing window is 7 cm. The dial reads Mavometer Original-Gossen DRP (Deutsche Reichs Patent). There are six bakelite screw down fasteners with impressed letters to guide the operator in hooking up the instrument. The bottom of the meter has four screwed on legs and three wire attachment schematic diagrams. All the components are intact. The small measurement dial indicates it was used on delicate electrical circuits and equipment. The meter comes complete with its original 10 page instruction booklet which gives detailed instructions on how to use the instrument, a rare piece of kit, excellent working condition.
